J’Reece Harris | Award Finalist

J’reece Harris as been working with a mentor since April 2013 and has learnt to cope when put into difficult situations, especially at school. He has learnt to open up more and speak out when he feels things are going wrong. J’reece has also learnt to make the right choices. He has re-built up his self-esteem, starting taekwondo at a new club and doing things which he would never have done previously, for example following in his mothers footsteps being confirmed, deciding that he is spiritually ready to go for his 1st holy communion. He also took part in the short film ‘Some Things’ which looks at Child Abuse in the Afro Caribbean community.
