Singer | Songwriter ‘ANDRIAH ARRINDELL’ to perform LIVE at BACK 2 BLACK.

Andriah Arrindell stared in the theatre show Bugzy Malone at the age of 11 and then went on to work on her own stuff. At 17 she started performing at top venues, supporting H.Town, Alexander O’neal and many more and then at 19 she moved to New York City.

Working with Colombia records on various projects, she then sang with “Mama I Want to Sings” “Gospel Is” off Broadway, which was a great experience and where she found her soprano sound. Following on from that she sang with the Harlem Gospel Choir, and worked with Nona Hendryx of The group Labelle.

She moved back to London in 2003 and joined the London Community Gospel Choir where she performed on the music hall of fame in 2005 with Aretha Franklin and Jamie Cullum, performed with Madonna at Live 8 2005, and also studio work for Julian Lennon. She was a backing singer for Shola Ama for two years and supported De La Soul at the Jazz Cafe in 2007. She has performed on Blue Peter and at Glastonbury and other top venues in Britain as well as travelled around Europe with other choirs and as a solo artist. Recently she performed at the Obama Inauguration event at Inter-continental Hotel Park Lane alongside Kelly Rowland And Mica Paris.

We are happy to add Andriah to what is fast becoming an exciting line-up of LIVE acts.
